How To Change The Background Colour Of Any PDF

You might have got irritated with the strain caused in your eyes because of a strong glare bring out by the bright white background colour of your PDF. As there are many curious people who read the contents of PDFs during night for the sake of their knowledge increment, this became inevitable for me to write an article to enlighten you by telling the procedure to darken your brightly-lit PDF!

                                    As in some of my previous articles, I have already introduced you to Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. In which I taught up you to edit your PDF files. If you not read those article, please visit-

In this article also we will use this free software by Adobe, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. So, lets learn the procedure to change the background colour of a PDF and also change its text colour.

To change the background colour of a PDF and also change its text colour, follow the given steps⤵️

Step 1:Open the PDF, of which you want the background colour to be change, with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

Step 2:Once the PDF gets opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, click  in the top left corner. A list will appear.

Step 3:Click  on the bottom of the list. Preferences dialog box appears.

Step 4:On the left corner of the dialog box, click  . New content appears on the right side of the dialog box.

Step 5:Tick  in the Document Colors Options. A list of option below it become accessible.

Step 6:Check .

Step 7:Now, change the PDF background colour by clicking    next to Page Background: which is next to Custom Color:. Now, select any background colour for your PDF.

                 

Step 8:On the right Page Background:,you will get Document Text:.Click on   in the right of Document Text:.Now,select the text colour for PDF.

                                     

Step 9:Now scroll and click . Your changes get saved.

               Now, your PDF gets its background colour and text colour changed. To darken my PDF, I have made black as my PDF's background colour and white as its text colour.

Let's have a look at the PDF with a changed background and text colour⤵️

 

             As you can see that the background and text in my PDF have got the desired colour.
