How To Make An Icon Of Any Website

 You might have been wandering about how to create an icon of any web application/app.As you already know that a web application is a website that requires its users to be online while using it.YouTube is one of the most popular web applications.

                                              One of the major disadvantages of a web application is that you can't have an icon as the application is not installed in the device. But there is a way to sort an answer for this problem!.You can make an icon of a web application using your browser. So, in this article, you will learn to how to generate an icon for a web application.

       Here I am using Microsoft Edge browser, because it is a bit difficult to create an icon of a web app in Edge browser.

To generate an icon of a web app in Microsoft Edge browser, follow the given steps⤵️

Step 1:Open Microsoft Edge browser. A window will appear.

Step 2:Open the website of which you want to generate an icon.

 Step 3:Click. A list will appear.

Step 4:Click or hover over Apps option in the list. A list will appear.

Step 5:Click Install this site as an app.A  new dialog box appears.

Step 6:Click Install.The site will open in a new window.

                                             Now you have installed the website as an app. But still you will not get an icon of the website in your desktop, in case of Microsoft Edge.

To get an icon of the installed website using Microsoft Edge, follow the given steps⤵️

Step 1:Click. A list will appear.

Step 2:Click Manage apps. A list of installed websites will appear.

Step 3:Right-click the app of which you wan to get an icon.

Step 4:Click Pin to. A dialog box will appear.

Step 5:Select the places where you want to get the icon to be placed. Click Pin.

             The app gets an icon that is placed in the desired location.
