While dealing with PDFs you might often think how to protect your confidential data in a PDF from getting exposed to others. Therefore, in this article, you will learn how to protect your PDF files with a password.

                       Here, to protect the PDFs with a password, I am using a website(https://smallpdf.com/protect-pdf).

To protect your PDF files, follow the given steps⤵️

Step 1:Open the website https://smallpdf.com/protect-pdf in any browser.

Step 2:Click . Open dialog box appears.

 Step 3:Select the PDF you want to be protected. Click .

Step 4:Now, enter the password for the PDF and then, re-enter it.

Step 5:Click . Now, your PDF has got protected with the password and you can download it.

Step 6:Click Download, to download the encrypted PDF file in your device. You may save the PDF to your Google Drive or Dropbox account.

              

   You have now protected your PDF file with the desired password. Now, lets have a look at the PDF I have created now⤵️
